Exploring the idea that today, showing true emotions can be inappropriate or unacceptable, and inspired by Pina Bausch’s dance transgression, this painting became an ode to her. One of the world’s most significant choreographers, Bausch broke the barriers of dance by incorporating theater, honesty, and poetic scenes while creating deeply emotional work rooted in humanity.
