Stage IV: Jason Jam and Stephanie Dishno is a risqué and serious exploration of the female form through the male and female gaze. The juxtaposition of physiques reflect the artistic perspectives and lives of Jason Jam and Stephanie Dishno. What do we feel when we see women depicted in these ways? What do we hold close? What do we let go?

Both artists address the immediacy and fleeting nature of time as it intersects with depictions of intimacy and desire upon the female form.  Jason Jam, an artist with Stage IV breast cancer, drew this erotic female imagery to find solace during aggressive chemotherapy treatments. Stephanie Dishno's figures and vessels are physical representations of desire, longing, and apprehension.

This exhibition includes the full series of twenty four Stage IV drawings by Jason Jam with thirteen ceramic pieces by Stephanie Dishno.
