Collection: Sandy Dvarishkis Collection
Sandy Dvarishkis grew up on a cattle ranch in Northern Wyoming, where she lived and learned the ranching life, which she describes as a gift. It gave her opportunities to nurse and raise wild animals, birds, and reptiles. This life also offered insights about the delicate balance of life, the interconnection of all life and a respect for humans, animals, earth, and sky.
Dvarishkis is known for her artistic depictions in clay of nature and animals in human settings, creating metaphors about human weaknesses and strengths, the dark side of life, and diverse personalities. She has exhibited throughout Montana and Wyoming. As a lifetime vegan and a student of Buddhism, Dvarishkis donates 10% of all sales to a fund for endangered species.
