Jason Jam: Horizon Exhibition at Kirks’ Grocery

Kirks’ Grocery is proud to present Horizon, an exhibition of new work in pencil, gouache, and watercolor by Jason Jam. Jam’s recent work in pencil uses subtle value shifts to create images of wonder and mystery. Millions of carefully arranged soft pencil marks have gone into these unusual images which take dozens of hours to create.

Horizon also reveals Jam’s newest colorful landscapes. The artist has used unconventional tools and quick brush strokes to apply vibrant gouache over layered washes of rich watercolor. The effect is to draw the viewer into his world. Truly a sight to behold.
