Collection: Art House Cinema & Pub: Clayton McDougall Snowbirds

Clayton McDougall is a photographer and filmmaker born and raised in northwest Montana. His still images combine landscape photography with structural/experimental elements to attempt to capture a grand expanse of time in a single second. His moving images utilize long takes and wide framing, which transforms real locations into artificial stages for futile and absurd stories.

Clayton’s photography has been exhibited in galleries from coast-to-coast, and he is currently writing his first feature film about his beloved home state. He also serves as the theatre director at Billings West High School, and seasonal film programmer for Wachholz College Center in Kalispell.
