In 1987 Thom Fuhrmann of SAVAGE REPUBLIC began work on a project called AUTUMNFAIR, recording two songs with partner Scott Feemster which appeared on the October Country compilation LP on Nate Starkman & Son. He later teamed up with Val Haller to record a further body of work in 1988 from which these six tracks have been taken. Representing a more intense step away form the previous release, these songs show the power and creativity of a musical endeavor which continues to evolve, and which deserves the attention of those interested in alternative underground music.
